Blind as a bat...an old bat & more pics of old York!

It's a long time since I posted my £20 special blog!

It's no secret am getting on now and me ole peepers are failing, so I splashed out on these
from etsy! At £18.

Am having my eyes tested next week and am pretty sure I only need reading glasses, so these will be ideal for menus and small print. I wonder if that famous chain of spectacle sellers will indulge me or if i'll have to send them away to have lenses fitted!

All pretty fitting as my great grandfather was an optical lens maker at the glass works in York.

Redfearn national glass - by the river in York, long gone now.

  1. Those glasses are fantastic. Ohh...just imagine if they were in red. That would be perfection. Good luck with your eye test.

  2. they arrived this morning, they are soooo delicate - oh yes red would be lovely, but blue and glittery I can get away with at work xxx
